RBI Assistant Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2020: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially released the RBI Assistant Notification 2020 for the recruitment of 926 RBI Assistants.

 There will be three stages of RBI Assistant Recruitment 2019 selection which will include Prelims, Mains and Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Here is a complete description of the three stages including syllabus and exam pattern. The RBI Assistant Syllabus is provided here for each stage and for each subject. The syllabus offered here is based on the latest notification of the RBI Assistant Exam 2020.

As per official notification, RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination will be held on 14 and 15 February 2020 and RBI Assistant Mains Examination will be held in March 2020.

Both exams will be conducted in online mode. The candidate who wants to get a job in the central bank for the post of the assistant is required to pass the examination. RBI Assistant Preliminary and Mains Exam Pattern 2020
The Assistant Examination is conducted by RBI every year. There are two stages in the exam, prelims, and mains. Each stage must be individually qualified. Take a look at the mode and type of exam:

RBI Assistant Preliminary Exam Pattern 2019-20

In the RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination, questions will be asked from the three sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability in Objective Multiple-Choice Format. The exam will be conducted on the lines of other bank exams. A total of 100 questions will be asked and each question carries 1 mark.

RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2020

In the RBI Assistant Mains Exam, the questions will be asked in multiple-choice format for the same purpose. In this phase, candidates will be asked 200 MCQs from five sections - English Language, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness. 40 questions will be asked in each section and each section will carry 40 marks. Penalty for wrong answers: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each answer attempted by a candidate. No deduction will be made for any question vacated or vacated by a candidate

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
Candidates selected provisionally from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the official/local language of the state concerned as per the details are given below. A candidate who is not proficient in official/local language will be disqualified.

RBI Assistant Preliminary Syllabus 2020

The RBI Assistant Prelims Exam will be conducted online in an objective format. The exam consists of three sections - Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and English Language.
